On 18th March, Dr Becca Watterson from the Northern Ireland War Memorial Museum visited P7. She brought lots of really interesting WW2 items for us to take a closer look at. As she talked about life during WW2, she passed the objects around, giving us as much time as we wanted to explore them more thoroughly. She even brought a replica gas mask for us to try on. A highlight for many of the boys and girls was getting to try on some authentic WW2 uniforms. A massive thanks to Dr Watterson for enhancing out learning within this topic!
